Rooted in Absolute Truth, Standing Against Doubt
This seemingly simple truth became the bedrock of our faith and the catalyst for everything you see here. We discovered that the very fabric of our universe, the blueprint for our lives, and the core of our identity all stem from the infallible declarations of our Creator. When God speaks, it is settled.
Yet, in our devotion, we also couldn’t ignore a recurring pattern throughout scripture – a sinister whisper, a persistent doubt, a cunning strategy employed by the adversary to undermine God’s absolute truth. This strategy is as old as humanity itself.
Consider the Garden of Eden. God, in His perfect love, clearly stated to Adam, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die” (Genesis 2:16-17, TPT). A clear, undeniable truth. But then came the serpent, slithering in with a question that sowed the seed of doubt: “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” (Genesis 3:1, TPT). A subtle twist, a direct challenge to the veracity of God’s word, designed to make Adam and Eve question what they had heard and known.
Fast forward to the New Testament, and we see the same tactic at play. At Jesus’ baptism, a divine confirmation echoed from heaven: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17, TPT). God, the Father, publicly declared Jesus’ identity. Yet, immediately after this glorious affirmation, the adversary appeared in the wilderness, attempting to cast doubt on this very truth. “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread” (Matthew 4:3, TPT), he challenged, directly questioning Jesus’ divinely proclaimed identity.
This is not just ancient history; it’s a common, insidious strategy of the adversary against every one of us today. Just as he questioned Adam and Eve, and even Jesus, he constantly seeks to question everything God has said about us, especially our incredible identities in Christ. He whispers lies: “Are you really loved?” “Are you truly forgiven?” “Are you actually righteous?” “Are you truly a King and a Priest?” He wants us to doubt the absolute truth of God’s declarations over our lives.
But the time for this deception to prevail is over!
Through our family devotions and a deeper understanding of God’s Word, we felt a burning conviction to expose this scheme of the adversary. We believe it is crucial for every believer to stand firm on the absolute truth of who they are in Christ and what God has spoken over them.
My Kingdom I.D.s was born from this revelation. Our mission is to empower you to embrace the unshakeable truth of your identity as a King and Priest unto God, just as our Lord Jesus Christ holds the eternal Melchizedek office. It’s all about knowing your identity in Jesus Christ, the Anointed One, so profoundly and unequivocally that the adversary can never again cast a shadow of doubt upon it.
Join us in declaring: “Yes! God Said… and I believe it!” Let’s walk together in the fullness of our royal and priestly identity, unhindered by the whispers of doubt, and confident in the absolute truth of God’s Word.
